Eagle’s
Nest Retail Center Takes Flight
Early in 2007, the Eagle’s Nest retail and commercial center will
introduce a new concept in local shopping — affinity retailing.
The 115,000-square-foot Eagle’s Nest center will emphasize locally
owned home improvement, home décor, and building trades businesses,
while also welcoming other small businesses such as dentists, daycare
centers, and dry cleaners.
“Eagle’s Nest is committed to reflecting the laid-back, friendly,
hometown lifestyle we so prize here in Eagle County,” said [name
omitted], Eagle’s Nest’s marketing director. “We’ve
worked hard to make the facility beautiful, competitive with big-box
retailers, and affordable for local businesses. It will be a one-stop
magnet center where their customers will want to shop. And at prices
half the going rate in Eagle or Avon, these prime locations are going
fast.”
Location, Location, Location
Eagle’s Nest is strategically situated as the gateway to major
retailers expanding into the Eagle-Gypsum corridor. Its merchants and
small businesses will have a highly visible and convenient presence
on I-70 at Chambers Road. “When we saw the plans and focus of Eagle’s
Nest, then looked at its location and affordability, we knew this would
be the ideal setting for our franchise,” said [name omitted]
of anchor tenant Ace Hardware.
Number One Priority
Another Eagle’s Nest emphasis is its commitment to the local small
businesses that will reside there. A property management association
will provide extensive, continuing assistance in marketing the businesses
at Eagle’s Nest. Businesses will be able to select from a variety
of pre-written ads, news releases, and other marketing templates, among
other marketing tools. “Driving business to our retail family
will be our number one priority,” [name omitted] said.
A New Standard
Eagle’s Nest’s design features and amenities are literally
setting the standard for new commercial development in Eagle County.
Citing its attention to detail, local emphasis, and manageable scale,
Eagle County planning officials have set the development as a model
for future retail expansion.
Eagle’s Nest makes it easy for shoppers to support locally owned
small businesses by grouping related goods and services in one convenient
location. Consumers save time, energy and money, while recirculating
local dollars in the Eagle County economy.
Customized Work or Retail Space
Retail space, which can be leased or purchased as condominium units,
offers top-flight facilities with ample, close-in parking. All space
is highly customizable, and the developer, [name omitted], promises
flexible build-out and finish options.
With four buildings and various space size options, Eagle’s Nest’s
phase one easily accommodates varied business needs. Two buildings provide
individual condominium units starting at 1,000 square feet each, so Eagle’s
Nest fits occupants needing warehouse, workshop or retail frontage
space.
Two remaining buildings are 10,000 square feet each. One will house
a single occupant; the other offers the option of a single tenant or
dividing
the space equally to accommodate two. All four buildings provide retail
exposure, warehouse delivery and storage.
Each unit has a large customer parking lot plus dedicated employee
parking.
Preconstruction prices start at $225,000, and phase one is nearly sold
out.
