Redesigned information architecture for a major corporate travel management company. Assessed, prioritized, and rewrote “shovelware” site copy into purposeful, readable, informative text. Analyzed hit data and surveyed corporate staff and users to assure retention of useful material and elimination of redundant or unnecessary topics. Compared competitor web sites. Worked closely with web designer to restructure site flow and logic and develop intuitive user navigation cues. With carefully written copy, minimized scrolling and mouse clicks needed to arrive at desired destination. Reduced sprawling, unfocused content from 300+ pages to just over 70 lean, content-rich screens. Navigant was in the 2006 Denver Post 50 Top Colorado Companies list . |

Designed and created e-commerce website for an artist/craftsman couple who produce fine-art paintings in the style of the Old Masters and "silent companions," painted figures used as fireplace decorations in centuries past. The design featured a spash page leading to the two product lines, interior page colors and parchment background chosen to complement the antique frames and vibrant colors of the artist's pallette, comple-mented by an antique gold logo. Each painting and figure has its own custom popup page and separate order form page. |
